Operational Hours
Local Flying Restrictions in local time Take-offs and landings are not permitted for
- jet aircrafts exceeding the noise level pursuant to ICAO Annex 16, Vol. 1, Part II, Chapter 3 between 2200LT-0600LT except in case of delays in scheduled or non-scheduled air services up to 2300LT.
- jet aircrafts complying the noise level pursuant to ICAO Annex 16, Vol. 1, Part II, Chapter 3 and prop aircrafts between 2200LT-0600LT except in case of delays in scheduled or non-scheduled air services training and exercise flights in accordance with valid air-transport regulations, necessary to obtain, prolong or renew an airman's licence for night flying up to 2300LT.
- alternate flights between 2200LT-0600LT, not planned to and/or from Nürnberg, to be performed at Nürnberg Airport only because of night flight restrictions applying at other airports or because of flight restriction in specific airspace.
Exceptions:
- take-offs and landing on a mission in disasters or rendering medical assistance as well as in other emergency cases.
- jet aircrafts complying with the noise level pursuant to ICAO Annex 16, Vol. 1, Part II, Chapter 3, included in the respectively valid Bonus List published by the Minitry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) for departing as well for landing aeroplanes. If, during the time of validity of these operating restrictions certain aircraft types are to be taken out of the Bonus List by Minitry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS), these aircraft types may be operated up to 31.03.2007 between 2200LT and 0600LT by the aircraft operating agencies already operating at Nürnberg Airport at the time this regulation becomes effective.
- prop aircraft with a noise certificate according to ICAO Annex 16, Vol. 1, Part II, Chapter 3, 5, 6 or 10.
- landings of aircraft provably approaching Nürnberg Airport as alternate airport for meteorological, technical or other safety reasons.
